Creative Photography Contest London
In July 2016 I was lucky enough to be selected to take part in the Adobe Creative Jam event in Shoreditch. The street photography event in London was an opportunity for 8 photographers to go out with a given brief and photograph what they thought it meant to them. However, the catch was you had 2 hours to do this followed by another hour to edit and then take these images and turn them into a story using their newly developed Adobe Spark blogging software. As you can imagine this was great fun but also quite difficult as the brief could be interpreted in so many ways. So what was the brief I hear you cry?
“…the elements of photography are built on light and time, what’s you interpretation of this…”
The approach I took with this brief was observing the age of technology and how this is affecting our society. We spend so much time with our heads down, rushing about our day trying to connect with things that we can’t reach. So much so that we sometimes miss all the things that are going on around us.

As well as exploring the nuances of London, our Street photography has taken us to various places around the world. The intrigue of the unknown has given us the opportunity to capture photos in the most remote villages of Cambodia to the bustling city of Berlin.
