In the heart of South London, hidden within the confines of a converted church hall, lies the workshop of Nick Branwell, a luthier with a fascinating story. His journey from a philosophy student to a craftsman of bespoke guitars encapsulates a life lived with passion, creativity, and a pursuit of mastery in the art of guitar making.
Nick’s work has always been about connection – to the materials he uses, to the people who provide them, and to the incredibly talented musicians who play the guitars he builds. Our job was to make one more connection – to convey the complexity of what he does and the simplicity of his process to a wider audience through photo and film.
With our short form Doc reaching over 17k views on YouTube, we truly believe that our passion projects should never really be about us, but about our subjects. We take great pleasure in putting these crafts people / artists / specialists centre stage of our video productions.
